I have the ASUS GTX 285 bud, mint...........going back to your last post bud, i have friends who have the AMD Quad Core and have had no problems with it. Personally I have the Intel Quad Core 12GB 1600Mhz Ram ASUS Mobo and the ASUS GTX Card as I say. Running Windows Vista Home 64Bit (have windows 7 upgrade but dont want to ruin the system) I run games at 1600 x 1050 on max everything and it runs as sweet as a nut. Doing Battlefield 2: Bad Company atm and no degradation or slow down at all. The only thing I would avoid mate is a Creative Labs Sound Blaster. Bloody crap thing, and I have the Titanium version. It hates Vista and causes the sound to come out like a Dalek. Only happens when you leave a game and want to watch pron or a film or sommit.

If you want a good pre-built system mate use Scan.  I bought mine from there and not a days problem. The only slight niggle is I have to wear and oxygen mask in my room now as the computers intake fan is so bloody massive it takes all the air up laugh.gif Enjoy wink.gif

as always depends on budget - the 285gtx is excellent and the newer Ati 5900 series look good too.
the 5800 range ain't too shabby either.

Also, I think knives are a good idea. Big, fuck-off shiny ones. Ones that look like they could skin a crocodile. Knives are good, because they don't make any noise, and the less noise they make, the more likely we are to use them. Shit 'em right up. Makes it look like we're serious. Guns for show, knives for a pro.

[10:28]<@kinnsy> if they put blue leds on a turd you would buy it! :P :D

Not really looking to upgrade but I keep getting all this stuff from ocuk about new cpu's and gfx cards and am so far out the loop I don't know whats good anymore.

I still got my 4core Intel Box what BD made for me. Pretty good but bloody noisy. I had to get a new k/b the other day so got one of the Logitec G11 ones when O/c had them on offer and actually it is a really nice keyboard for typing as well as games (not that I have played any since the last play I had on truffs so whats that a month or so ago).

I have had one for years Xtreme-Music edition and with W7 64bit and the latest drivers have zero problems with it to be honest

Cool bud,

Bought, installed (only took 30 minutes or so and that was with the formatting of the HD) runs really smoothly.

I d/l all the crap that creative have to offer for the Titanium and thus far it seems to work fine.

Good decision all round I think smile.gif
