GammaOffsetRed=0.000000opengl driver for ut - this is driver 24 which I have personally found to be the most stable:

http://www.12monkeyz.com/index.php?ind=dow...view&iden=1

couple that with the text below into your ut/system/unrealtournament configuration settings (just open the ut config file with notepad and scroll down to the section that begins:

[OpenGLDrv.OpenGLRenderDevice] and paste the text below over the text that is there.
be careful to only cover the opengl text and leave a gap between it and the next load of text.
save and close.

things you might want to alter are the lines:

NumAASamples=4
UseAA=True

4 is ok for the grafix card I am using at the moment but if you have a high level card then try 8 or 16 instead.

the frame limiter switch:

FrameRateLimit=150

this will stop UT trying to run more than 150 frame per sec - this can be changed to whatever suits.

last thing to note is the usual warning about making sure you monitors refresh rate matches UT.
below is this line:

RefreshRate=60

is your monitor is set to 70 or 75 just make sure that line reflects the same number.
RefreshRate=70
RefreshRate=75

you might experience lag/crashes if you don't match it.

I don't reckon you've got long. Seen that before. Gut wound. The slug's probably torn right through your liver. Mate of mine in Ulster got caught in sniper fire. Bullet blew his inside out. He screamed for a good 10 minutes. We couldn't send a medic in, the section was too hot. So we all took cover... and watched him die. I've never told that... to anyone... you should've called an ambulance... for the girl...

for those with radeons, you might wanna try enabling truform to do this go into the console, type preferences and then click the plus next to rendering. Then click the plus next to opengl. Truform switch is near the bottom. Oh you gotta have truform set to application prefernce in your opengl drivers tab.

Makes everything nice n round.

Doesnt really impact frame rate either. ;)

what I found with the latest one was that sometimes quitting UT didnot return my gamma from high to normal.
The one that I stick to now is 24 ;)

just updated the original post with me latest settings.

appear to using opengl renderer 24 ( OpenGlDrv24.dll ) - I found some of the later ones to be very unstable.

my grafix drivers are for Windows pro XP64 - 158.27 is the forceware version and I am running a 8800gtx 768mb mem

quite a handy line for stopping the comp from doing stupid frame rate:

FrameRateLimit=150

caps the fps at a max of 150 - stops you getting laggy on servers cause your rates are too high.

just updated to my latest opengl settings.
I also noticed that the site giving opengl drivers for UT is now gone so took out the links.

**edit**

added the opengl driver to 12m's own download area:
