Just downloaded and installed, initial thought are good. I like the most visited folder and the one click bookmarks. Alot of themes and extensions are not compatible at this point though, but they'll be fixed sooner rather than later.

Luckily the default theme is pretty good.

Anyone else tried it?

been watching this but will hold off for a while and see how it goes.
You failed to maintain your weapon, Son.
I don't reckon you've got long. Seen that before. Gut wound. The slug's probably torn right through your liver. Mate of mine in Ulster got caught in sniper fire. Bullet blew his inside out. He screamed for a good 10 minutes. We couldn't send a medic in, the section was too hot. So we all took cover... and watched him die. I've never told that... to anyone... you should've called an ambulance... for the girl...

I've been using it since the first RC and quite like it. Also using a couple of addons with it...

NoScript - gives you control over what scripts run on sites etc. Nothing wrong with a bit of extra security.
Adblock plus - removes adverts banners etc.

I too have been using for a while, originally like most people I had problems with some add-ons not working, but the ones I use have since been updated to run on 3.0.

I have been running it on both mac and pc and I can report that both version seem to be quite stable, I must admit I had some problems with RC1 on both mac and PC if I tried to delete bookmarks folders that had lots of bookmarks within them, it would crash or hang. This seems to have been sorted out RC2 on and in the final version.

I think the inclusion of tags in a brilliant idea and let you find anything with the same tags easily, it is a shame that you can not have the option to list the bookmarks in their tags in the bookmarks menu. I personally use the delicious add-ons, this is brilliant if like me you use multiple browser (different home computers, one at work, etc) as it lets you use your bookmarks on any browser on any computer.

Overall great.

Like a new windows OS, firefox has plenty of compatibility issues in the beginning. From the on-set it's clearly better and more user friendly however until all add-ons etc are compatible i'd suggest avoiding it for the first 2months

*edit*

Just to add i'm a big fan of firefox and will be using it fully when all add-ons are sorted :P

addons that I use currently

Tab Clicking Options
Chatzilla
IE Tab
Piclens

all working in FF3. My favourite theme however "Noia Extreme" hasn't been updated yet, but there are some nice alternatives.

Best export your bookmarks just to be on the safe side, mine worked no problem, they just appeared in FF3.

good link loki.

There is an easter egg in ff3, type 'about:robots' (without the quotes) into the address bar and hit return

cool extension which could prove very useful to those with large monitors,

Firegestures

easy and intuitive to use mouse gestures, instead of moving the mouse pinter large distances to hit that darned "back" button why not just hold down right mouse button, nudge the mouse left, let go of right mouse button and hey presto you've gone "back". Loads of features, fully customisable too.

I never really knew how much I actually moved the mouse when browsing untill I tried this out. Give it a try
