I asked BE to put me on fast path and they claim they have but DMT still says interleaved path. Just want to ask if DMT could be wrong before I go and moan at BE?

interleaving and packet shaping arent the same thing. you can interleave and still have your packets prioritised above other traffic

Think I just need to have a moan in general then. Went to play some ut ctf last night and found that my ping to de servers is 130 f6. I get normal pings to UK but latency takes too big of a jump when on de servers. Never found BE support to be much use but i'll give it another go.

have to say my pings are an absolute triumph.
typically a ut game shows a ping of 20 on F1.
a lot of other players give me grief because of it.

yeah still with idnet. that server we were on the other night my F1 ping was 45-50 iirc. That was a german server wasn't it?

Either way it was more than playable.

I don't think so, it should say that you are on Fastpath or something different from interleaved.

I'll have a check when I get home later what mine says.

From what I remember, its the modulation that says whether you are on fastpath or not.

Annex A = interleaved
Annex M = fastpath

Actually, when the line is configured on fast path it takes place immediately.
According to our statistics, the speed has not been improved so much.
This is due to the fact that the line is not capable to get more speed.
Fast path can improve the speed when the modem is synchronized at more than 12Mbps.
